Our state government seems to be working overtime to undermine parent's right to simply parent. Did you know that since 2022, in Illinois, minors do not need to notify their parents to receive an abortion? If the government will interfere that much in a parent's role, what about gender-modifying treatments? Where will it end?

Parents Matter Coalition

Parents Matter Coalition (PMC) wanted to give parents a voice by putting this issue on the ballot. Their question is this, "Should parental consent be required for any minor child to receive life-altering treatments."

PMC needs 500,000 petition signatures from registered voters for this question to appear on the 2024 ballot.
